Recipes adapted from Children’s Healthy & Fun Cookbook written by Nicola Graimes.
1. Peel and core 4 apples, then chop them into bite-sized pieces.
2. Put them into a saucepan and add 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 4 tbsp apple juice and a squeeze of lemon juice.
3. Half-cover the pan and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the apples are tender.
4. Serve with a fruit muffin or stirred into yogurt.

Ingredients:
400g salmon
4 tbsp teriyaki sauce (referred to the picture below)
Dash of salt and pepper
Squeeze of lemon juice
Methods:
1. Wash salmon, cut into half. Pat dry.
2. Marinate with salt and pepper for 15 mins
3. Heat up 1 tbsp oil, grill salmon at medium heat until slighly golden brown, turn to another side to grill. (Be careful not to overcook it as the meat for 80% cooked salmon is very tender...

Ingredients:
200g fresh button mushrooms (chopped)
1 large white onion (diced)
1 large stalk of celery (diced)
360ml stock (I diluted 1 tbsp concentrated chicken stock with water)
300ml fresh milk
30g butter
3 tbsp plain flour

1 egg (lightly beaten)
Seasonings:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp light soya sauce
½ tsp chicken stock granules
½ tbsp sesame oil

Ingredients:
½ block beancurd (for steaming) – 150g
200g fish paste
1 egg (lightly beaten)
Small handful of frozen mixed vegetables (corns, carrots & green peas)
Seasonings:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp light soya sauce
½ tsp chicken stock granules
1 tbsp cornflour

This is my hubby’s all-time favourite.
Ingredients:
300ml warm water
3 eggs
Seasonings:
1/2 tsp salt
Dash of pepper and chicken stock granules
Garnishings:
Spring onions
Fried garlic or onion oil
Dash of light soya sauce
Methods:
1. Combine all ingredients and seasonings and mix well with fork or chopsticks.
